Description
This fire starter is made from 100% soy wax, a cotton wick, natural foraged items from the Pacific Northwest, and dried flowers or spices. Each fire starter may contain different ingredients, depending on supply availability. These are great for use with kindling, to start a bonfire. We recommend these be used for outdoor use only. Simply just add the fire starter to the kindling and light the wick (at both ends).
Foraged items may include:
- Rose petals / buds
- Pinecones
- Pine needle branches
- Cedar branches
- Hemlock branches
- Wild daises
- Twigs / sticks
Note: The cotton wick is recycled from the candles. After pouring the candles the wicks are trimmed down to 1/4″ above the candle, creating a 3″ wick waste that is reused in the fire starters. We also use pieces of paper towel that were used during cleanup after candle making, creating zero waste from our candle making activities!
